Bualo Network Admin Tools for NAS (BN-ADT/NAS) User Manual

Setup Overview

After installing BN-ADT/NAS, scan for TeraStations on the network and congure

them as needed. BN-ADT/NAS can detect TeraStations on the same broadcast

domain as the computer where BN-ADT/NAS is installed.

TeraStations may be on the same subnet as the computer running BN-ADT/NAS,

or on dierent subnets if routing is congured so that network communication is

possible in both directions.

Note:

Before changing your TeraStation's settings with BN-ADT/NAS, back up the current

settings and reset it to factory defaults. For more on backing up settings with NS-

SHFT, refer to your TeraStation documentation.
